This was an especially exciting day. This day was filled with "great expectations". Some of those expectations were realized and some sadly were not. Realized or not, each participant can congratulate themselves on the journey. With hard work and discipline you have strengthened your technic, you have become more sensitive to phrasing, your dynamics have grown from mp-mf to pp-ff. Your music skills are greater now than they were when you began this journey. This means you have won a personal victory. Of this you should be very proud!
